about me

In my view, a strong relationship is one of the pillars of a meaningful therapy experience. Opening up with someone new is vulnerable and requires continued trust. By sharing a bit about myself, prospective clients can see if we may be a good fit.

During my time at NYU School of Social Work, my clinical experience was focused in both psychiatric and oncology inpatient hospital settings. Post-Masters, I continued as an oncology social worker at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, developing a specialty in psychosocial oncology issues and the unique mental health challenges of those with physical illnesses.

After taking time away from the field to raise my family, I resumed my clinical work in a group practice setting, while training at the Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy.

I am a lifelong New Yorker who loves dogs, running, and biking.
