my approach to psychotherapy

I work from a psychodynamic perspective, using a relational and attachment-focused approach, and grounded in my social work roots - what does this mean?

I take a holistic approach, prioritizing understanding the entirety of a person and their environment, including the sociocultural systems that influence a person’s identity and life experiences.

Our past experiences and significant relationships inform our present, and the therapeutic relationship can be a place for understanding these past and present relational patterns, and for having new/reparative experiences within the safety of a trusting relationship.

My style in sessions is warm, interactive, and collaborative. Our sessions will aim to deepen your understanding, reduce suffering, and focus on integrating new ways of being.
